About the resort

🏔️ History
Considered one of the "cradles of skiing", Davos-Klosters evolved from a 19th-century health resort into a global winter sports hub, installing the world's first T-bar lift in 1934. It offers two distinct experiences: the urban city of Davos and the traditional village of Klosters.

☀️ Best days
Late January and early February for the best powder snow, or March to enjoy longer, sunnier days on the terraces.

🚫 Days to avoid
Mid-February weeks are generally the most crowded due to European school holidays.

💡 Community tip
Start early to enjoy the freshly groomed slopes of Parsenn. Utilize the excellent train network (included in your pass) to navigate between different mountains and avoid bottlenecks.

🚗 Main access: From Zurich, take the A3 motorway towards Chur and exit at Landquart. From there, follow the cantonal road 28 towards Prättigau. The road will take you first to Klosters and then, up a steeper section, to Davos.

⚠️ Winter driving: The road is wide and generally cleared of snow quickly, but during heavy winter storms, snow chains or four-wheel drive may be mandatory for the climb from Klosters to Davos.

Local Tips

💡 Free public transport with Guest Card: By staying at least one night in a commercial accommodation in Davos Klosters, you receive the "Davos Klosters Premium Card", allowing free use of the local bus network and RhB trains between Klosters and Filisur.
